POLL: KSTP Heroin Story Featuring Shakopee Prompts Twitter Response

KSTP Channel 5 News shined the spotlight on Shakopee Monday evening in a story about the rising heroin problem in the Twin Cities.

A KSTP reporter interviewed teens in Shakopee, who said they could get a bag of heroin for $5 and that they've heard Shakopee referred to as H-town, for heroin town.

They also referred to two stories Patch ran last week – about the things to pawn to purchase the drug, and about the 18-year-old woman  for the same purpose.

People took to Twitter after the report to voice their opinions of Shakopee and of the story:
