The Shakopee High's homecoming king and queen will be crowned on Friday, just before the football game against New Prague. The coronation will take place at the stadium at 6:15 p.m. The game begins at 7 p.m. The new king and queen will hold court at the dance the next day.
According to the Shakopee Valley News, the candidates are:

- Kayla Schmidt
- Sam Verbeke
- Luke Bruss
- Noah Estabrooks
- Evan Florez
- Bennett Olupo
- Matt Zorn
