Hwy. 169 Southbound Ramp Closure Begins Tonight at 10 p.m.

The ramp from eastbound Interstate-494 to southbound Hwy. 169 will close at 10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

During the closure, motorists should follow the posted detour route:

Eastbound I-494 to northbound Hwy 100 to westbound I-494 to southbound Hwy 100.

Also, beginning at 9 p.m. Feb. 6 there will be alternating lane closures on southbound Hwy 169 between Valley View Road and Anderson Lakes Parkway/Bloomington Ferry Road.

The closure is necessary for MnDOT workers to place bridge beams above the roadway. The ramp and all lanes of southbound Hwy 169 will reopen at 5 a.m., Tuesday, February 7.

The ramp is also scheduled to close overnight on the evening of Monday, Feb. 13 for continued beam placement.
