Letter to the Editor: Josh D. Ondich Running for State Senate

I am officially running for state Senate because we have a state legislature that is out of touch with the everyday Minnesotan. I believe it is time we had a leader in Saint Paul that is not a career politician or tied to any special interest group.

I ran in 2010 for state Representative because I believed then as I do now that we need a real alternative at the ballot box. I am running for state Senate, not to be a politician, but to restore the duty of public servant.

If we as Minnesotans are to change the status quo to make Minnesota a better place to live for all Minnesotans, we cannot expect to elect or re-elect the same type of people who are either beholden to the interests of their personal careers or the interest of big money and get different results.

I ask you to look at my campaign and see a real alternative. I am running in the GOP primary August 14th.
