Update: Monday Snow in Shakopee Contributes to 13 Crashes
Another round of light snow is possible Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.

It may have been a small amount of snow overall, but the inch or so of snow Shakopee received Monday contributed to a lot of slippery roads and vehicle crashes.
Emergency scanner traffic was buzzing with vehicle crashes in and around Shakopee from the afternoon through the evening hours.Â
Shakopee Police Capt. Chris Dellwo said Tuesday morning that in the past 24 hours police responded to 13 weather-related accidents with some type of property damage and two spinouts where vehicles were stuck in a ditch but not damaged. Of the 13 property damage accidents, nine involved two cars and four were single vehicles that either rolled over or collided with a guardrail or street sign.Â
