Open House for Upcoming Construction Project in Shakopee Aug. 21

The City of Shakopee is holding a public open house next week for a 2014  improvement project that will impact County Highway 17 / Vierling Drive and the CH 17 / US 169 north ramp interactions.

According to the city:

The improvement project includes the construction of additional turn lanes, modifications in access to Vierling Drive, updates to the traffic signal systems in this area and repaving Vierling Drive between Sage Lane and Miller Street South. 

At the open house, residents and business owners will be able to provide input and voice their concerns about "preliminary construction staging plans, anticipated construction schedule, business signing, and alternative routes information." 

The open house is schedule from 3-5 p.m. on Wed., Aug. 21 at Shakopee Country Inn and Suites, 1204 Ramsey Street.
