Shakopee Police Seek Leads in Attempted Armed Robbery
The suspect is described as a black man, about 35 years old with a medium build and a shaved head.

are seeking the public’s help in finding a suspect who they say brandished a handgun in an attempted robbery last week.
The incident occurred just before 10:25 p.m. Thursday, May 17, outside a residence on Sage Court, according to police investigations Sgt. John Buetow.
A man who was visiting family in Shakopee told officers when he went to pull out of the driveway, his vehicle was blocked by a man in a dark-colored Chevrolet Tahoe with chrome rims. The man then got out of the vehicle, brandished a handgun and demanded money, Buetow said.

The victim said he didn’t have any money and after the suspect looked into the man’s vehicle and saw nothing, he reportedly left.
