Shakopee Fist Fight Draws Crowd

Several young people were involved in a fight Tuesday evening near Marschall Road across from the , according to Shakopee police.

Police said the fight started at approximately 8:30 p.m.

"There were mainly two people involved, and a whole lot of people gathering around," said Police Sgt. Tom Crocker.

He said the fight stemmed from an earlier conflict. Paramedics attended to at least one male at the scene, who appeared to have blood on his face. Crocker said he thought a few of the young people, who he described as juveniles and young adults, would receive disorderly conduct tickets.
