Shakopee Hot Dad Finalist On NBC Today Show This Morning

Thanks to his wife, "Hot Dad" Marc Patefield is about to appear on the NBC Today show.

Rachel Patefield said she heard about a contest on NBC’s Today Show for "Hot Dads" and thought she'd send a picture of her husband. With an abundance of votes, perhaps helped by Patch fans , he was chosen in his category from 1000 entries and then chosen as one of four finalists.

The NBC Today Show flew him out on Monday to be on the live segment Tuesday, June 12, with Kathie Lee & Hoda. They will announce the overall winner live during the 10:00 hour. The winner will receive a 7-night Caribbean cruise for four people.

"Keeping our fingers crossed!," Rachel Patefield wrote last week. "This experience has been a riot! I'm so lucky to have married (Marc)."
