Shakopee Resident Competes in Autumn Woods Classic

From hardcore distance runners to casual walkers and kids with energy to burn, the Autumn Woods Classic offered something for everyone.

David Pereira of Shakopee finished the 10K at the annual Maple Grove race with a time of 59:46, putting him 247th out of 409 entrants.

The event ran from 8:30 a.m. to noon, at Elm Creek Park Reserve and featured a 10K run, 5K run/walk and a 1K kids’ run.
