Shakopee's First U.S. Bank Branch Holds Grand Opening
The Shakopee Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday.
The Shakopee Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony for Shakopee's first U.S. Bank branch on Wednesday.
The branch opened near the intersection of County Road 21 and County Road 18 and employs nine people, who were transferred from other offices.
“It really was a gap in the market we wanted to fill,” Christine Hobrough, the bank's Twin Cities metropolitan region manager, told the Star Tribune in February.

The Shakopee location is the 97th branch in the Twin Cities and the first new one since 2010.
