Shakopee's Sames First Local Finisher at Grandma's Marathon

Nearly two-dozen Shakopee runners laced up their shoes early Saturday to take on and finish Grandma's Marathon in Duluth.
Twenty-five-year old Brian Sames was the first Shakopee runner to cross the finish line. He finished in 2 hours, 53 minutes, 17 seconds, for 101st place.
Katie Munson, 30, was the top local female to finish as she finished in 3:37:22.
