Shakopee Seeks Election Judges for Primary and Presidential Elections
The City of Shakopee is looking for election judges for the Aug. 14 Primary Election and the Nov. 6 Presidential Election.

The is looking for election judges for the Aug. 14 Primary Election and the Nov. 6 Presidential Election. Election judges help the voting process run smoothly on Election Day. They greet voters and verify they are in the correct polling place, register voters, obtain signatures, give out ballots and show how to use the voting machines.
Election judges are paid $8.75 per hour. To serve as an election judge, you must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years old on Election Day, a Scott County resident and attend a two-hour paid training session.
