Shakopee Woman Pleads Guilty to Aiding Friend in Bloody Beating of Ex-Boyfriend

The man who beat Haley Arndt's ex-boyfriend nearly to death was found hiding in her upstairs bedroom.

Haley Arndt, 30, of Shakopee has pleaded guilty for her role in the near-fatal beating of her ex-boyfriend, Mark Letourneau.

A beating doled out by Travis Denis, a friend of Arndt's, at her Clifton Townhomes apartment in March 2012 left Letorneau drowning on his own blood. Letoruneau flat-lined four times and suffered permanent brain injury during his recuperation, according to the Shakopee Valley News.

Arndy initially told police that Letorneau had kicked down her door and that she didn't know he was bleeding outside or where Denis could be found. But police found Denis hiding in an upstairs bedroom of Arndt's townhouse.
