Soundset Shutters Early Due to Severe Storms
The show did not go on for the headliner of Soundset – Atmosphere – at least not in Shakopee.
The fifth anniversary of the hip hop festival known as will likely be a memorable one for those who attended. The all day event at started out hot and blustery but ended before the headliner, Atmosphere, could take the stage, thanks to a severe thunderstorm warning.
Canterbury Park spokesman Jeff Maday told KSTP-TV that 17,000 people were evacuated at about 7:20 p.m. in an orderly fashion and without incident. Shortly after that severe weather sirens were set off in Shakopee, which Scott County Sheriff's Office officials said was due to .
