Spring Load Restrictions Go Into Effect On March 16 In City Of Shakopee

Spring load restrictions will go into effect on City of Shakopee streets as of Wednesday, March 16. See the 2022 Spring Load Restriction Map here.

In keeping with past practice, the local weight restrictions go into effect at the same time as spring load restrictions on state highways, which are set by the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The restriction end date is unknown at this time because restrictions are based on how weather affects roadway strength. An update will be posted on the city website when restrictions are lifted.
