Three Rivers Park District offers nearby fishing opportunities.

Can’t make it up north for the May 12 opener? Gas prices keeping you home? No cabin? No problem – Three Rivers Park District has fishing and boating opportunities near Shakopee.Â
Fees: Parking is free in Three Rivers Park District. However, a $5 daily or $35 season permit is required for boat trailer parking. Permits will be available at pay boxes near the boat launches and at park visitor and nature centers. Permits may also be ordered by phone at (763) 559-9000. Minnesota fishing licenses are required for anglers ages 16 and older.
Boat owners are reminded to check for Eurasian water milfoil and other invasive species before launching and when removing boats from the water. Boat operators are also reminded to pull the drain plug and drain live wells upon leaving.Â
