Storms to Redevelop Tonight, Shakopee Under Flash Flood Watch
A flash flood watch is in effect through Sunday afternoon. One to three inches of rain is possible.

The National Weather Service has issued a special weathe statement warning of possible strong winds through 7 p.m. tonight. There could be sustained winds of 30-40 mph with gusts to 50 mph. This could cause small branches to come down or make for difficult driving on roads running north to south.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to redevelop over the Shakopee and Scott County area late this evening through the overnight hours, the National Weather Service-Twin Cities said at about 5 p.m. today.
Periods of moderate to heavy rainfall can be expected mainly during the early morning hours, which could lead to isolated flash flooding. A flash flood watch is in effect through Sunday afternoon. One to three inches of rain is possible.
