Traffic Switch Scheduled for Southbound Highway 169 April 5-6
Lane and long-term ramp closures also will occur.

Motorists will encounter lane closures and a traffic switch on southbound Highway 169 between Valley View Road and Anderson Lakes Parkway in Edina and Bloomington on the evenings of Thursday, April 5 and Friday, April 6.Â
Beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 5, traffic between I-494 and Valley View Road will be rerouted to the northbound lanes of Hwy 169. Once this has been completed, the ramp from southbound Hwy 169 to westbound Interstate 494 will close for approximately four months for reconstruction. During the ramp closure, access to westbound I-494 from southbound Hwy 169 will be available at Hwy 62/Hwy 212.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, April 6, the remaining southbound Hwy 169 traffic between I-494 and Anderson Lakes Parkway will be rerouted to the northbound lanes. Once this has been completed, access from W. 78th Street/Townline Avenue will be temporarily closed. W. 78th Street/Townline Avenue will remain closed until approximately late-June. During this closure motorists should follow a posted detour route to westbound W. 78th Street, northbound Prairie Center Drive and eastbound I-494 to access southbound Hwy 169.
