Weather Delays Reactivation of Highway 169 Traffic Light
The signal is needed to allow motorists to safely merge onto northbound Hwy 169 from westbound I-494.

Inclement weather has delayed the northbound Hwy 169 traffic switch and reactivation of the traffic light until this evening, Friday, March 30. Beginning at 7 p.m., crews will begin to reroute northbound traffic to the east side of the freeway at the interchange. During that time, motorists on northbound Hwy 169 in Bloomington and Edina will encounter alternating lane closures between Anderson Lakes Parkway and Valley View Road.
All lanes of northbound Hwy 169 will reopen and the traffic signal will be back in operation by 6 a.m. Saturday, March 31. The traffic signal will remain in operation through fall 2012. The signal is needed to allow motorists to safely merge onto northbound Hwy 169 from westbound I-494. All other signals at the interchange will stay green.No other traffic signals at the interchange will be put back into service.
