Cafe Maude Looking To Open Second Location

Popular Armatage eatery might not be confined to Armatage for much longer. Southwest Minneapolis Patch spotted a telling ad on Craigslist Wednesday afternoon, advertising for a manager to help owner Kevin Sheehy open a new location in Loring Park. 

The ad was also linked on the restaurant's Facebook page, but as of press time, Patch has not been able to interview Sheehy about the specifics of the new restaurant.

"We are looking for a general manager to take charge in this opening endeavor, to build a fearless and fun staff and maintain our brand," the ad reads.

Beyond offering a tantalizing hint of more Maude in Minneapolis' future, the ad also offers a peek into the jobs of those hard-working folks that make every foodie's restaurant experience fantastic. From working the restaurant's Facebook and Twitter accounts, to mentoring new hires, to doing payroll, the litany of responsibilities the new manager will have leaves you wondering how any restaurant owner or manager ever has free time.
