MINNEAPOLIS — It's not unheard of for superstars and other celebrities to dine in Minneapolis. However, it's usually when they're in town for a concert or special event. Minnesota is a long way from Hollywood.

So it remains a mystery how Lady Gaga ended up at a Loring Park neighborhood restaurant Sunday night.

"Last night, we were delighted to have Lady Gaga join us for dinner," Cafe & Bar Lurcat said on its Facebook page.

"On behalf of our staff, and owners Richard and Larry D’Amico, we thank Lady Gaga - one of the most beloved and influential singers, songwriters, and performance actors in the world - for choosing our Minneapolis restaurant. Applause, applause, applause."

According to the restaurant staff, everyone was understandably star-struck but no one asked her for photos or autographs.

"She was very gracious and kind to our staff, and was kind of just like anybody else. But not like anybody else, because it was Lady Gaga," Lurcat manager Nick Gonzales told the Star Tribune.

"It seemed that she just wanted to stop in for a nice dinner on a Sunday night."
