Missing Minneapolis Girl With Diabetes Found Safe, Police Say

Victoria Jackson, 12, had been missing since Saturday night. Police say she has returned home and is safe.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — A 12-year-old girl who was reported missing over the weekend has returned home and is safe, according to the Minneapolis Police Department.

Victoria Alexandria Jackson was last seen around 8 p.m. on Aug. 2 walking away from Minnehaha Falls. Authorities issued a missing child alert and said she was medically endangered due to her Type 1 diabetes and use of an insulin pump.

On Wednesday, police announced: "UPDATE: Wonderful news. Victoria has returned home and is safe."
