4 Stillwater Schools On COVID-19 Outbreak List: MDH

This week's list included 48 Washington County schools, 11 more than last week.

STILLWATER, MN — Three Stillwater schools were added Thursday to the Minnesota Department of Health’s list of facilities with recent coronavirus outbreaks.

Two elementary schools — Rutherford and Stonebridge — and St. Croix Preparatory Academy were named on the most recent list released Thursday, joining Stillwater Area High School, which has been on the list for many weeks.

Three of the four Stillwater schools on the list are in the Stillwater Area Public Schools district.

Several SAPS schools located outside Stillwater were also included on the most recent list of facilities with recent coronavirus outbreaks:

  • Afton-Lakeland Elementary (Lakeland)
  • Andersen Elementary (Bayport)
  • Brookview Elementary (Woodbury)
  • Lake Elmo Elementary (Lake Elmo)
  • Oak-Land Middle School (Lake Elmo)

The COVID-19 data dashboard for Stillwater Area Public Schools shows there have been 548 coronavirus cases among staff and students since the start of the 2021-22 academic year, as of Dec. 2.

Almost 150 of those cases were reported from Nov. 26 to Dec. 2, including 33 at Stillwater Area High School, the dashboard shows.
