Blood on the Water: Burnsville Woman Saw it under the Stillwater Lift Bridge
But there was something fishy about her story.
The time:Â about 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29.
A call came into the Stillwater Police Department from the St. Croix River.Â
A woman from Burnsville said she "saw what appeared to be blood under the lift bridge on the west side," according to the police report.Â
A pair of Stillwater police officers responded. Their determination:
"It was fish blood."
