Coronavirus Testing Reimbursements Available In Washington County

Washington County residents who received assistance or human services within the past six months are eligible for reimbursements.

STILLWATER, MN — Washington County is offering to reimburse some residents for coronavirus testing with many “running into barriers” amid an increase in cases throughout Minnesota.

Washington County residents who received human services, public health or community corrections services within the past six months are eligible for reimbursements, officials said in a news release.

Those services include cash assistance, food support, child support, child protection, veterans’ services, WIC, adult and juvenile probation and other case management services, according to the release.

Residents must submit receipts for their coronavirus tests along with a valid ID to receive reimbursements, which will be distributed through cash cards, officials said. Cards can be picked up at any of Washington County’s service locations or mailed directly to residents’ homes.
