How I'm feeling today:  I am excited and am looking forward to voting later today.  I am proud of the campaign we ran and am so thankful for the support and well-wishes along the way.  I'm thinking back about some of the great moments on the campaign trail, especially those where I had friends and family in tow.

Hey Shawn,

I'm feeling really good. I'm anxious to get the results but I've been getting a lot of calls of support and people telling me they've voted for me. It's been a very fulfilling experience and I've met a lot of new neighbors. It was really cool (regardless of political affiliation) when sitting US Congresswoman Betty McCollum gave me a call last night on the eve of her election to chat about local politics and to wish me luck in the election. I'm going to spend the day doing some shopping downtown with the kids and checking in with my neighbors.

Senate District 39:

Karin Housley:

Thanks Shawn!

Team Housley volunteers were up early & out on the busy streets waving Karin HOUSLEY for Senate signs in support of our Senate campaign. We will be gathering tonight for our Victory party with Bob Dettmer & Kathy Lohmer... (Ill text you location if you want to come down, but not for public knowledge beforehand.)

Just got home from doorknocking for another couple hours this morning, and the word is very exciting! From Forest Lake to Stillwater to Lakeland, the voters were eager to get to the polls. Many had cast their ballots before 8 AM!

It looks good for Team Housley!

Julie Bunn:

Shawn, thanks for the overall election and same-day coverage!

The mood is very positive among the Citizens for Julie Bunn team.  We have been sharing our message about expecting better from government and leadership with voters since early May, and have continued to push hard to persuade and get out the vote by phone and on foot during these final days.

We thank the voters of Senate District 39 for engaging in a conversation with us about the future of our great state and about the type of leadership that is good for our communities, businesses, and families.  We think the voters are tired of extremist candidates, and are ready for leaders that believe in real fiscal responsibility, hard work and balance.  Throughout the summer and fall citizens have responded well to our message of ending gridlock and creating a brighter future.

Thank you to those who have shown my volunteers and me great kindness and support while on the campaign trail and to all for voting today!
