How St. Croix Crossing Crews Move Dirt Quickly
Watch scrapers in action in the Hwy. 36/Hwy. 95 area.
Crews worked fast over the weekend to make big changes at Highways 95 and 36 as part of the St. Croix Crossing project.Â
MnDOT posted the YouTube above (or see it at YouTube.com) to show how scrapers move lots of dirt quickly.Â
The changes include (click on map thumbnail above):
- New ramp with a traffic signal directly between Highway 36 and Highway 95
- New Highway 95 lanes—with portions of single-lane and two-lane traffic in each direction
- Single-lane traffic on the newly constructed eastbound lanes of Highway 36Â
