On Facebook we asked what downtown businesses are doing for the Fourth. Here's what a few of them have said:

• Rivertown Inn: "Guests of Rivertown Inn on the night of Wednesday, July 4th will receive two complimentary tickets to the event at the , a few short blocks from the inn. This beautifully renovated rooftop space includes a spectacular river view, live music, hors d'oeuvres, cash bar and a panoramic view of the fireworks."
• The Law Office of Samuel E. Surface, Ltd.: "While the office will be closed, emergency calls will still be answered throughout the day. Never hope anyone gets in trouble, but these things happen on holidays (i.e. DWIs, fights, detox placement, etc.). Be safe and have fun, people!"
• Foodies On Foot: "For people spending the week in Stillwater or who have friends and family visiting, Foodies On Foot just added Tuesday the 3rd and Friday the 6th 11am Savory Tours and Saturday the 7th Bloody Mary Brunch Tour at 10:30am. Use coupon code "july4" to get $10 off any tour!"
• Street Treats Ice Cream: "We're only doing a "party route" on Wednesday before we park for the fireworks near the Historic Courthouse in the early evening... so if you'd like to get in on the ice cream action for a HOT 4th, leave a message at Street Treats Ice Cream on FB or call/text 651-308-5212!"
