'who is seeing these northern lights!?!?! Right over the top of stillwater !'

One Stillwater skywatcher said she saw the aurora borealis 'really well from the south hill over look by the steps.'

Looks like it was quite a show.

Northern Lights lit up the sky Tuesday evening and early Wednesday morning—right over Stillwater, in fact, according to Twitter:

"Northern lights dancin’ above Stillwater tonight. Gorgeous."

People up after midnight Tuesday shared what they'd seen at the Stillwater Patch Facebook page:

"who is seeing these northern lights!?!?! Right over the top of stillwater! ... I can see them really well from the south hill over look by the steps"

The Sky Gods didn't just put on a show only for Stillwater however, as more Stillwater Patch Facebook commenters testified:

"I'm seeing it in new Richmond! It's amazing! I've never seen them before!! ... They look amazing! I wish I could get a good picture!!!"

"Seeing them by Big Carnelian Lake now!"

"I see them in New Richmond as well, not super colorful, but there is an awesome glimmer to the north:) Thanks for sharing!"

"Saw them in Woodbury. Not spectacular but still a beautiful sky. Mostly light green and undulating. Thank you for posting or I would have missed it!"

"You can see them north of Eau Claire right now too. Absolutely beautiful."

"In Duluth right now – they are spectacular!"

"I missed out, maybe tonight too?"

Actually, Wednesday night does look like it might be good too, according to another Stillwater Patch Facebook commenter's link from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks Geophysical Institute's Aurora Forecast.
