Police: Body of Danielle Jelinek Found in Chisago Township
The Chisago County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that a body was found Friday in a small body in of water in Chisago Township is Danielle Jelinek.

The spot where investigators made the discovery is near the home of Aaron Schnagl, the man linked to Danielle Jelinek's disappearance.Â
The county sheriff is waiting for confirmation from a medical examiner, but "suspects" the body is that of the Oakdale woman.Â

The St. Paul Pioneer Press showed officers and investigators pulling a stretcher with a body on it some time Friday afternoon in Chisago Township, near the intersection 261st Street and Kodiak Avenue.Â
Schnagl, Jelinek's on-again, off-again boyfriend, lives on 261st Street. Jelinek was last seen at his home on Dec. 8, 2012

I want to personally thank everybody for all the help you've given, all the prayers and hope you've shared and all the love and support shown to my dear friend Danielle's family.
Its been an extremely tough 6 months for everyone. There are absolutely no words that can describe the anguish the Jelinek family has endured. But now we know she is safe and no longer in pain.
We were all given a new Guardian Angel....We love you and will never forget you Dani.

Original story: A family spokesperson is reporting that the body of Danielle Jelinek has been found, according to multiple reports.
The body was found in Chisago County a few hundred yards from the home of Aaron Schnagl, a former boyfriend who has been considered a person of interest in the case, according to the Star Tribune.
Schangl’s is currently being held on a drug offense and probation violation, according to CBS News. Some of her belongings were found at his home during a previous search.
Jelinek, of Oakdale, was last seen on Dec. 8, 2012, in Chisago City. She was reported missing the next day. The family in April for information leading to her whereabouts.
The search was called off in late December 2012. Her birthday was Feb. 1, when the family encouraged people to do small acts of kindness.
The Chisago County Sheriff's Office did not confirm that her body was found as of Friday afternoon, but told reporters could gather in Chisago Township, according to the Pioneer Press.
Schnagl, meanwhile, pleaded guilty to drug charges in February and was not cooperating with authorities in Jelinek's disappearance.
