Prison Guards Injured During Search At MCF Stillwater
The guards were released from the hospital after being treated Sunday, a spokesperson for the Minnesota Department of Corrections said.

BAYPORT, MN — Two correctional officers were treated at Lakeview Hospital on Sunday after they were assaulted by a person being held at the Stillwater correctional facility in Bayport, according to a spokesperson for the Minnesota Department of Corrections.
Nick Kimball, director of communications for the DOC, confirmed to Patch that the two officers were released after being treated Sunday, as first reported by the Twin Cities Pioneer Press.
Kimball said the reported assault will be referred to Washington County prosecutors "for possible charges."
