Stillwater Boy Wins $100K Scholarship For Being Fully Vaccinated
Minnesota's "Kids Deserve a Shot" campaign offered a slew of incentives, including $200 gift cards, tickets to Vikings games and much more.
STILLWATER, MN — A Stillwater boy will have $100,000 to put towards his college education after winning a scholarship as part of Minnesota’s “Kids Deserve a Shot” campaign to encourage kids to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Jude Motter won the $100,000 scholarship for being fully vaccinated, Gov. Tim Walz announced Monday. Motter is one of five winners, with kids from Plymouth, Rochester and Apple Valley also receiving six-figure scholarships.

The fifth $100,000 scholarship winner is set to be announced Wednesday, Walz said.

Prizewinners were selected through a drawing by the Minnesota State Lottery.
