Officials lifted the lockdown and Stillwater Area High school resumed its normal schedule Tuesday after police arrested the teen.

STILLWATER, MN — Stillwater Area High School was placed on lockdown Tuesday morning after a teen accused of driving a stolen car fled into the school, according to police.

The Oak Park Heights Police Department said officers were tracking a vehicle that was stolen out of Woodbury when they found it being driven in the high school’s rear parking lot Tuesday.

Police alleged the driver, who they described as a “male juvenile,” ran into the school, prompting lockdown measures.
