Veteran's Day, Adoption, Orchestra and Choral Music: The Week Ahead in Stillwater

Five Stillwater area schools will hold Veterans Day assemblies on Monday.

Five assemblies in Stillwater area schools will mark Veteran's Day on Monday. Many will include local color guards, as well as special music and presentations by students and staff. Veterans are invited to attend so students may honor their service: 

  • Andersen Elementary, 10:30 a.m.
  • Afton-Lakeland Elementary, 10:15 a.m.
  • Marine Elementary, 10:30 a.m.
  • Withrow Elementary, 2 p.m.
  • Lake Elmo Elementary, 9:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. 
The City of Stillwater Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. Monday. 

Learn about adoption services at an orientation program on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at HOPE in Oak Park Heights. The organization serves the state of Minnesota and 19 counties in western Wisconsin. 

The Stillwater Area High School's Fall Orchestra Concert is Tuesday at 7 p.m.

On Thursday at 7 p.m., the Stillwater Area School board meets at Stillwater City Hall. 

At 8 p.m. on Thursday, it's Stillwater Area High School's Fall Choral Festival.
