LOUIS PARK, MN — Two people were arrested over interference with a dead body after a deceased woman was found in an apartment unit in St. Louis Park.On Tuesday at about 2:45 p.m., police responded to the complex at 2700 Rhode Island Avenue South on a report of a deceased woman.Officers checked the unit but did not find anyone deceased. However, "after further investigation," police said they returned to the same building and found a woman's body in a different apartment unit.Two acquaintances of the victim — a man and a woman — were arrested at the scene, authorities said.The woman was arrested on suspicion of interference with a dead body. The man was arrested on both suspicion of burglary and interference with a dead body. The "precise nature of the victim's death" is still under investigation, but no known public threat is associated with the case, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call (952) 924-2618.
