
Trevor Yedoni's big year was capped off, fittingly, with two state titles on Saturday.
The senior won the high jump title for the second year in a row, reaching the same height he maxed out with last year—6 feet, 10 inches. Yedoni's winning jump was three inches higher than the nearest competitor.
Yedoni also won the long jump with a distance of 23 feet.

Earlier in the year, Yedoni set the at the prestigious Hamline Elite meet, coming near 7 feet. He will be a member of the University of Minnesota track and field team in the fall.

St. Louis Park's took fourth in the 1,600-meter run and fifth in the 3,200 meter run. It was the fourth year in a row that the senior competed in both events at state, winning the 1,600-meter title as a freshman.
BSM's Haley Jerabek, a sophomore, took seventh in the 800-meter run.
