The City of St. Louis Park emergency ordinance requiring face coverings in places of public accommodation in St. Louis Park expired at 11:59 p.m. Feb. 22, 2022. While the emergency ordinance is no longer in place, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) recommend that everyone, vaccinated or unvaccinated, wear face coverings in public indoor settings. This is especially true where community transmission is high, which includes Hennepin County.

Below are additional resources that may be of assistance to you in stopping the spread of COVID-19 in our community:
- Businesses, multitenant office and multitenant residential locations that wish to continue to encourage the use of indoor face coverings may pick up supplies of free face coverings at St. Louis Park City Hall, 5005 Minnetonka Blvd., St. Louis Park, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday.
- Through March 9, free COVID-19 rapid testing is available Mondays – Wednesdays, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., at a drive-through site located at Louisiana Oaks Park, 3520 Louisiana Ave. S., St. Louis Park. Testing is administered by St. Louis Park-based Rapid Mobile Medical in partnership with the St. Louis Park Fire Department, under the medical direction of Dr. Eric Nussbaum, a St. Louis Park resident. No appointments are necessary. Ages 3 and up can be tested. Bring a driver’s license or photo ID and health insurance card, if applicable. Health insurance is not required to use the site. Results will be delivered within 30 minutes, by email, to test recipients. Many thanks to Dr. Nussbaum and to Rapid Mobile Medical for making this site possible.
- Attend a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic Feb. 26 or 27 in St. Louis Park, co-hosted by Cub Pharmacy, the St. Louis Park Fire Department and local businesses. Those receiving a vaccine are eligible to receive a gift card.
- Feb. 26, 2 – 6 p.m. at the conference room, first floor, ShowPlace ICON Theatre, 1625 West End Blvd. Sponsored by The Loop and The Local.
- Feb. 27, 2 – 5 p.m. at The Block, 7007 Walker St. Sponsored by The Block.
