City Of St. Louis Park: St. Louis Park Police Department Releases Photos Of Vehicle Suspected In I-394 Shooting Jan. 20

January 24, 2022 6:51 p.m.

On Jan. 20, 2022, around 10:55 p.m., St. Louis Park police officers responded to 1500 Park Place Boulevard in St. Louis Park, where a male driver reported that while driving eastbound on I-394 near Dakota Avenue in St. Louis Park, he was shot by the occupants of another vehicle. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds but is expected to survive. He is cooperating with investigators. No one else is reported to have been hurt in the incident. A section of I-394 was closed for an evidence search related to this incident.

New information suggests that the victim and suspect vehicle may both have been seen before the incident at Speedway, 6955 Market St., Golden Valley. Based on the ongoing investigation, the suspect vehicle is believed to be a 2014 or newer Nissan Murano SUV, gray or similar-colored. Photos of the suspect vehicle are below.

St. Louis Park police are asking motorists who were in the area of Louisiana Avenue and I-394 or on I-394 eastbound when this incident occurred, and who have dashcams, to check dashcam recordings for possible video of the suspect vehicle.
