New cases are up by 173 percent in Hennepin County, according to the New York Times. There are now 13 confirmed cases among 100,000 people, and an average of 727 new cases every day.
Hennepin County has a "high" level of community transmission, according to the Centers for Disease Control. That is the CDC's highest category for case spread.
