Decaying Boardwalk In St. Louis Park Will Reopen Thursday
The local watershed district plans to reconstruct the boardwalk next winter. Until then, users should use caution.

ST. LOUIS PARK, MN — The Minnehaha Creek Preserve boardwalk will reopen Thursday. The boardwalk, which opened in 2015, is owned and maintained by the local watershed district.
St. Louis Park city officials warned that the boardwalk has experienced significant deterioration.
Starting this spring, the surface of the boardwalk will be inspected every two weeks. Crews will plug up any existing holes with plywood, and there will be signs warning users of deteriorating conditions.
