The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency initially issued an air pollution health advisory for the Twin Cities from noon to midnight on Friday, but that alert has been cancelled because a storm system developing in the Dakotas is promoting cloud formation across Minnesota today. The increased cloud coverage is expected to slow the production of ozone pollution. Still, air quality is not good enough for open burning in St. Louis Park.
