An "excessive heat warning" issued by the National Weather Service earlier in the week for all of Hennepin County, including St. Louis Park, has ended. Wednesday temperatures figure to be in the 80s with moderate humidity, a marked improvement from Tuesday, which saw the temperature get as high as 103 degrees in the Twin Cities—a record for June 7, according to the NWS. The cool-down should continue through the end of the week, as the NWS is forecasting highs of 68, 60, 66 and 74 on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
