Pedestrian Fatally Struck In Hopkins Crash: State Patrol
The pedestrian was struck "in the lanes of traffic," according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

HOPKINS, MN — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Hopkins on Saturday night, according to authorities.
At 9:25 p.m., a 1999 Toyota Camry was traveling east on Highway 7 — near 12th Avenue — when it struck a pedestrian in the lanes of traffic, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The Camry driver — a 23-year-old woman from St. Louis Park — was not injured in the crash.

The pedestrian — identified as 28-year-old John Patrick Gunderson of St. Louis Park — died at the scene.
