It's a Blast From St. Louis Park's Past on Facebook
A new group is taking a trip down memory lane.
Have an old class photo you've been dying to share? Or maybe you just want to reminisce about a trip to the Lincoln Del?
A new—and rapidly growing—Facebook group is here to help.
Nearly 5,000 people have joined "Flashbacks of St. Louis Park," a group that is described as such: "A fun place to add photos, reminisce, and share your memories of the past in St Louis Park."

A combination of pop culture memories, old class photos and plenty of lively banter, the group has clearly struck a chord with many Parkites.
For instance, Gary Perna, one of the group's seven administrators, recently posted: "(Where) was the best burger or place to go for a good burger in SLP back in the day?"

That triggered 52 comments worth of friendly debate. "The Old Park Tavern hands down (with fries)," one commenter wrote. "The Lincoln Del's charburgers," chimed in another.
St. Louis Park, of course, has plenty of history to discuss. Last fall, the city . And a have called the Park home over the years.
I joined the Flashbacks group, and if you have some roots in SLP, I encourage you to do the same. I'll be keeping an eye on the group, and if I see some really interesting posts, I'll share them here on Patch, too.
