St. Louis Park has a number of residents who are marking a positive impact on the world everyday, and we want to recognize them.

If you know of someone confronting a local issue with creativity and passion, please email local editor Michael Rose at michael.rose@patch.com. Please include the full name of the person you're nominating, as well as a few words about what makes that person stand out.

These local standouts could be featured in the Huffington Post's "Greatest Person of the Day" section. Just yesterday, on a mom who started a leukemia support group was featured.
