Benilde-St. Margaret's faces Burnsville in today's state semifinals.

quest for an undefeated season—and a second-straight boys lacrosse state title—continues today with the 2011 state semifinals.
The 16-0 Red Knights are, not surprisingly, the top-seeded team in the tournament and will take on No. 4 Burnsville (11-6) at 6 p.m. at Chanhassen High School.
BSM advanced to state on Thursday with one of its closest wins of the season, a 9-8 over Blake. The Red Knights’ previous game against Burnsville wasn’t nearly as competitive—BSM topped the Blaze, 15-5, to open the season on April 14.

The Red Knights are paced by the two-pronged attack of Will Hoesley and Christian Horn, who had 57 and 50 points during the regular season, respectively. BSM also had a Mr. Lacrosse finalist in senior Christian Rekow.
If the Red Knights win, they’ll face either Eden Prairie or White Bear Lake in Thursday’s championship game, slated for 8 p.m. BSM beat Eden Prairie, 10-6, on April 25. The Red Knights did not play White Bear Lake this year.
