HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN — A St. Paul man has been charged in a deadly crash in Brooklyn Park, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced Wednesday.

According to the criminal complaint, at about 7:18 a.m. Sunday, an Osseo police officer saw a white Chevrolet Silverado speed out of a parking bay. Police later identified the Silverado's driver as Pattishall.
While headed southbound on County Highway 81, Pattishall slammed his truck into a red Kia Sportage, driven by Fisher, that was stopped at a red light at Brooklyn Boulevard in Brooklyn Park, according to the criminal complaint.

Witnesses told police the Silverado seemed to be traveling over 70 mph, while the speed limit in the area is 45 mph, according to the criminal complaint.
Another witness said the Silverado did not appear to attempt to stop because no brake lights were illuminated, according to investigators.
After the crash, Pattishall — wearing a highly reflective vest — ran from the scene to a nearby gas station and changed in the women's bathroom, the criminal complaint states.
When Pattishall was arrested, officers found 12.6 grams of drugs on him, according to police. Tests determined the substances were methamphetamine and fentanyl, authorities said.
Pattishall also said he ingested heroin before being arrested, according to investigators. A blood test taken of Pattishall is being processed.
According to police, the Silverado was stolen from a business during a burglary on May 15.
