Man Who Went Missing In April Found Dead In Mississippi River
The body of an Elk River man who went missing this spring was found in the Mississippi River on Saturday in Anoka.
ANOKA, MN — The body of an Elk River man who went missing this spring was found in the Mississippi River on Saturday.
On April 18, the Anoka Police Department alerted the public about Keith Harvell, who was last seen on April 3 at the Anoka Kwik Trip. He was on foot at the time, police said.
Just after 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, police were called to the 400 block of Rice Street in Anoka after a possibly deceased man was reportedly "tangled in natural debris" in the Mississippi River.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene and the man was declared dead. Authorities have since identified the body as Harvell.
