New Congressional Maps: How St. Louis Park Is Affected
The Minnesota Special Redistricting Panel Tuesday released the state's new congressional districts.

ST. LOUIS PARK, MN — The Minnesota Special Redistricting Panel Tuesday released the state's new congressional districts. Members of the panel were appointed by the state Supreme Court because the Minnesota Legislature could not agree on new maps following the 2020 United States Census.
St. Louis Park will remain in the Fifth District and will continue to be represented by Democrat Ilhan Omar.
"I’ve always taken pride in the fact that the 5th District is one of the least gerrymandered Congressional Districts in the country. I’m pleased to see that remains the case in these new maps," Rep. Ilhan Omar said in a statement Tuesday.
